The beauty of the sea and its environment ultimately guided me towards the love I developed in sailing.
To have the chance to again represent my country at the Olympics is something I am very proud of.

About Me

My love with sport started when I was thirteen years old. Initially track and field events were the main priorities however that changed when sailing was introduced to me when I was fifthteen years old.

In 2001 I became a member at the Kyrenia Nautical Club where my preperation for qualifying for the 2004 Olympic Games began. After many hours of hard work and sacrifice my efforts were rewarded after I became the first Cypriot women sailor to qualify for the Olympics in which I finished in 21st place.

My aim for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing is to finish among the top 10 sailors in the RSX class.

Gabriella qualification for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing was achieved at the expense of several competing athletes from Hungrey, Estonia, Croatia, Turkey, Armenia and Russia.
